Not all engineers are qualified to do all types of gas work. Priority Heating & Gas Services very own Eric Murray is now qualified in LPG. Liquefied Petroleum Gas or LPG, is used in a variety of places both outdoors and inside dwellings such as rural homes, caravans, cabins and boats.
Fixed LPG Appliances
All fixed LPG gas appliances should be regularly serviced and safety checked every year by a suitably qualified Gas Safe registered engineer such as Priority Heating & Gas Services.
When buying a new or replacement gas appliance you should check that it is suitable for its intended location, the correct type of gas that will be used and that it is installed by a qualified registered engineer.
It is also highly recommended an audible carbon monoxide alarm is also installed. Carbon monoxide (CO) is an extremely poisonous gas, which can kill quickly and with no warning, as you cannot see, smell or taste it.
